The Facile Cardigan from the Ballerina Chunky Mohair collection is knitted top-down, creating a soft and seamless cardigan. The cardigan is worked from the top, starting with the back. Stitches are cast on for the back, which is knitted to the underarms. Then, stitches are picked up along each shoulder to form the right and left sides of the front. Increases are made to shape the V-neck, and both front pieces are worked separately until they reach the underarms.

The front and back are then joined and knitted back and forth to the desired length, finishing with a ribbed hem. Stitches are picked up around each armhole for the sleeves, which are knitted in the round. Decreases are made towards the end to create a slimmer fit, and the sleeves are finished with ribbed cuffs.
